Purim Celebrations at Beth Shalom were the best ever, the social hall THE Place to be - The evening started with a family friendly dinner (baked potato bar was a big hit with everyone), then face painting with Shirley Sassoon and her lovely daughters/helpers, Davina and Chanel.

Ryan Silverberg is seen here after getting his face painted as a tiger. Fran Weiger was lovely and original in her "Cirque De Soleil" costume, and she was right in time for the Megilla reading and the Ice cream Sundae Bar that followed.

Virtheim joined the merriment, and wished they could go in the bounce house, which was the main attraction on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The attendees enjoyed delicious homemade Hamantaschen made by Dolores Schneider, Miriam Ward and Danielle Snailer. Sunday school opened with a Megilla reading and a costume parade, after which the sunday school kids could bounce away in the bounce house, curteousy of CBS sisterhood which paid for it. In the words of the traditional Israeli Purim song, Why, oh Why does Purim come only once a year?
