On Sunday, May 6th, Congregation Beth Shalom Sunday School celebrated Lag BaOmer Field Day, a day filled with fun activities, hot dogs, chips, popsicles and races. David Markson and his hard working crew (Samuel and Zachary Markson, Bea Stein, and CBS’own eighth grade) helped run such fun races as potato sack races, wooden shoe races, a specially designed “secret Square” game and the favorite - traget practice using nerf guns. In charge of grilling the hot dogs was Mark Snailer, BBQ master, and the terrific kitchen crew, Sheryl Robertson, Iris Jeffreys, Thressa and Michael Lobel, and Pam Sudbury dished out chips, drinks and popsicles to excited kids. The weather held up nicely, and a great time was had by all.
