Community-Wide Mitzvah Day – April 6, 2008

Members of our congregation participated in community-wide Mitzvah Day activities in Fort Worth and Arlington on April 6, 2008. It was a beautiful day to volunteer and help other social organizations and people in need of support and services. Our congregants participated in several activities in Arlington (see photos below). Eleven individuals, including five of our congregants, donated pet food to Meals on Wheels (MOW) and delivered pet food to MOW clients in Arlington. Six of our congregants sorted and hanged clothing at Mission Arlington. Phil Kabakoff, Cathy Frisinger, and Carol Pock also volunteered in Mitzvah Day activities in Fort Worth. Thanks to all our congregants who participated in this social action event!!
