Thousands of Evacuees Arrive Every Minute to DFW
As of today, thousands of evacuees from the coast and surrounding areas have begun to arrive in the DFW Metroplex and the number continues to grow by the minute. We are expecting between 10-15,000 evacuees in the area and we need hundreds of volunteers to help.
We Need Your Help At The Salvation Army Shelters To Feed Evacuees.

The first immediate volunteer need is today, Friday at 4 pm. There are other volunteer opportunities serving food at 6 am, 11 am and 4 pm throughout the entire weekend.
INDIVIDUALS who want to volunteer at shelters must pass a criminal background check. Go to our web site, www.vcnt.org, to be directed to a volunteer application form.
If you have already completed a volunteer application and passed the criminal background check, Sign Up now. If you have not completed these forms, please follow the instructions below.
