Our services reflect the diversity of our congregation and contain both Hebrew and English. We are a small congregation; everyone is important and valued. Come, enjoy and participate in the intimacy and warmth that only a smaller shul can give you.

Congregation Beth Shalom invites you to worship with us during regular services Friday night and Saturday morning. Friday night services start at 7:30 pm and Saturday morning services start at 10:00am.

We hope that all families will join us for our wonderful services!  Services are warm and participatory. We hope that you will join us!

You can prepare for Saturday Morning Service by listening to the cantillations here.

Congregation Beth Shalom invites you to worship with us during the High Holy Days. Our services will be led by Cantor Sheri Allen and are conducted in the Dora Saxe Sanctuary of Congregation Beth Shalom. Services are warm and participatory. We hope that you will join us!

Members in good standing at Beth Shalom, will receive tickets about two weeks prior to High Holy Day Services.

Contributions towards Bimah flowers are greatly appreciated and will be acknowledged from the Bimah.  You can make an online donation by clicking on the "Donate" button on our website.

College students and active duty military personnel receive complimentary tickets with current ID for High Holy Days. Please come by the office before Services.

Although we like families to worship together, small children may disrupt services. Therefore, children under the age of five are not encouraged to be in the sanctuary during High Holy Day Services. To provide younger children with the High Holy Day Service experience, a special Children’s Service is held the first day of Rosh HaShanna and on Yom Kippur for families with tickets. Children are also welcome and encouraged to attend the Tashlich Service, which is open to all and is held at Randol Mill Park. (Bring bread for the ducks!!)

You may wish to participate in a 900 year old Jewish tradition to honor the memory of your loved ones through our annual Book of Remembrance. By doing so, you perform the act of tzedakah, which is a way to honor our loved ones whom we have lost. This Book lists dear ones whose names were removed from the “Book of Life” during past years. The memorial book will be distributed at the Yizkor Memorial Service on Yom Kippur.

The memorial board in the Dora Saxe Sanctuary acts as a perpetual yahrzeit list identifying our loved ones whose names are consecrated on the memorial plates. Memorial plates cost $100 each. For information regarding the memorial board, please call the office.

If you are a Beth Shalom member and plan to be out of town during the Holy Days and wish to attend worship services at another Reform congregation, please contact the office. We will provide you with the appropriate form to allow for courtesy admission.

Guest tickets for services at Beth Shalom are available in the office or may be ordered by calling the office. Tickets are required for the Yizkor Service as well.

Tickets are free for guests during the High Holy Day Services.  High Holy Day Service donations from our guests are greatly appreciated.
