Square Raffle Fundraiser

Your goal as a family is to fill as many squares on your CBS Squares Fundraising Board or raise the most money throughout the month of February. The family who fills the most squares on their board and the family who raises the most money will BOTH receive $100 visa gift cards. 

 

Track who selected squares by putting their name or initials in the square that matches the amount they are paying on the CBS Squares Fundraising Board and put their name, dollar amount, how they pay, and which raffles they want to enter into on the attached CBS Squares Fundraising Spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will automatically track how much money a person will pay and how many raffle chances you gave them.

 

The numbered board serves as a way to help you track donations. The number in the square/box equals the dollar amount the person donates. If it is easier for you to place four people who want to pay $25 on the 25 square, you would be in the running for the most money raised. However, if you want to use the board you can put one person on square 25, one person on squares 20 and 5, one person on squares 21 and 4, one person on squares 22, 2, and 1 thereby filling in 8 squares with four people. Using the squares puts you in the running for the most squares filled. Either way, remember to track all participants on the CBS Squares Fundraising Spreadsheet.

Payment options include Check, Credit Card (CC), Cash, and Zelle. Checks should be sent to CBS, Credit Card payments can be made via phone call to Laura, cash can be given to you and you pay Laura, and Zelle info is: weigerben@gmail.com

This fundraiser is a chance to get money from people outside our CBS membership. Please reach out to family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors, etc through phone, email, and facebook/social media accounts and ask them if they want a chance to enter any of our raffles. Any person in the United States is able to participate.

This year part of our fundraising proceeds will go to Camp Impact, a camp that serves homeless, underprivileged, and underrepresented children from Arlington and Grand Prairie. 100% of the funds donated to Camp Impact go directly to providing opportunities to the children who attend. All people who work with Camp Impact are volunteers, who choose to help because of the positive experiences the children have at camp. 

 

It takes approximately $350 to fund one child to attend Camp Impact. Please consider sponsoring or partially sponsoring a child. For every $10 you donate, you will have a chance to enter a raffle of your choice.

 

There are six raffle options for participants. They can put all their raffle chances towards one raffle, or can divvy them up any way they want among the six raffles. Please see the attached Raffle Items Fundraiser 2023 page to see the raffles. Please share these raffles with those you talk to and track which raffles they want to enter on the CBS Squares Fundraising Spreadsheet.

 

I will place the fundraising information and an image of the raffle items on our CBS Facebook page. You can copy and paste it and share it on your own facebook page as a way to try to get more people you know to participate. Several of the items being raffled are good for people no matter where they live in the US and a couple items can be used if the person should ever come visit you in DFW within the next year. 

 

Between Feb 28^th and March 2^nd you will send your CBS Squares Fundraising Board AND CBS Squares Fundraising Spreadsheet to Lani Aldaba via email (lgmukd@hotmail.com). She will tally all the raffles and use a random wheel generator to select the winner for each raffle. Winners will be announced on March 6th.
