Sukkah Fundraiser

Please join us in raising funds for a new Sukkah at Congregation Beth Shalom!

Our current homemade Sukkah has served us well for many years, but as our congregants have aged, so has the wood on this cherished dwelling that we gladly commune together inside during the holy days of Sukkot. To compound matters, our older brotherhood members have to schlep all of the old lumber and components down the stairs at the beginning of Sukkot and then back up the stairs after the holiday is over.

Our new Sukkah will be coming from the renowned company, The Sukkah Project. They have created a "Klutz-Proof " sukkah design that required no tools, no screws, and is made of lightweight galvanized steel tubing that is lightweight and rust-resistant. The outer walls are a mesh canvas that allows semi-privacy while still letting a nice breeze flow through during the hottest parts of the season. When Sukkot is over, the pieces can be put into bags for easy carrying and storage.

Time is of the essence as Sukkot will be here before we know it and we must place our order in ASAP before they are out of stock. Please help us raise the required $3,500 to accomplish this mitzvah!
